DOs of Eating

  • While eating focus on eating
  • One should eat comfortably in sitting posture in pleasant surroundings

  • Eat 4-5 smaller meals daily instead of 3 big meals

Don'ts of Eating

  • Eating should not be done in a hurry
  • It should not be very slow either
  • One should not talk or laugh while eating
  • Too much of any one taste should be avoided
  • Food articles should have no contradictory potency

Basal Metabolic Index is a measurement that is used to check whether person's weight falls within normal range or not. It can be calculated by dividing weight in kgs, by height in meters squared [Kg/m2].
Category BMI range – kg/m2 Mass (weight) of a 1.8-metre (5 ft 11 inches) person with this BMI.
Very severely underweight less than 15.0 less than 48.6 kilograms
Severely underweight from 15.0 to 16.0 between 48.6 and 51.8 kilograms
Underweight from 16.0 to 18.5 between 51.8 and 59.9 kilograms
Normal (healthy weight) from 18.5 to 25 between 59.9 and 81.0 kilograms
Overweight from 25 to 30 between 81.0 and 97.2 kilograms
Obese Class I (Moderately obese) from 30 to 35 between 97.2 and 113.4 kilogram
Obese Class II (Severely obese) from 35 to 40 between 113.4 and 129.6kilogram
Obese Class III (Very severely obese) over 40 from 129.6 kilograms
